What avenues to pursue in protest of Unity Water's control of our water? Surely this should ethically and morally be controlled by the government, not a third party - if Australia does indeed recognise water as a fundamental human right as opposed to a commercial product? Are we being bullied, because of our own complacency and being too willing to accept any change enforced on us?

There should be one entity for the entire state as in W.A. so as to cut fat executive and board member costs. This would keep prices in the affordable range.

What will the LNP do about both water and electricity if they become the next State government? Your criticisms (of the water situation for example)are excellent but what we need to know is what remedies you have in mind. The approach to both problems (and they are very serious problems for fixed income people if not all people) will have to be very radical and as Sir Humphrey would say "very brave" but that is what is required. There is nothing wrong with a budget deficit if it will be used to sort out the above problems. To come to the election with a firm manifesto and, say, a five year plan of action would see electoral success in a big way. Merry Christmas.
