LABOR’S promotion of Andrew Fraser to Deputy Premier is bad news for Queenslanders struggling to pay surging power and water bills. It’s reward for a man responsible for so much financial pain.

Andrew Fraser ripped billions of dollars out of the government-owned electricity corporations to fund Labor’s waste and mismanagement - and now electricity bills are though the roof.

Andrew Fraser is the person who signed-off on the bulk water charges which are increasing at upwards of 25 per cent into the future – meaning more pain for Queenslanders.

And let’s not forget Mr Fraser’s absolute support for the carbon tax which he so vigorously defends in parliament – a tax that will add even more pain to Queenslanders’ power and water bills.

The LNP CanDo team is totally opposed to Labor’s carbon tax. We will cut waste and get Queensland back on track.
